According to data from TheInfoPro’s Storage Study (Wave 11), backup redesign continues to be a key initiative for F1000 and Midsize Enterprise storage organizations. For many large enterprises, the backup and recovery process has not kept pace with the sheer growth of data or the increased requirements for higher data protection, including the deployment of virtual servers and the emergence of new regulatory requirements. As a result, many storage organizations are redesigning their existing backup architecture.
