Many companies have either invested in server virtualization or else are taking a long, hard look at it, and SAP shops are no exception. In this videocast from SAP Sapphire 2009, Chris Carter, president and CEO of HiLn, a consulting firm that specializes in virtualizing SAP environments, explains some of the expenses and savings organizations may not typically take into account when embarking on an SAP virtualization project. He also discusses some of the skills, hardware and data center considerations.

Christopher Carter is the acting CEO for HiLn. He was formerly the president and CEO of CCi, which he founded in 2002. He facilitated the firm's growth as an SAP premier partner, and led the growth of his firm with over 10 years of experience in the SAP ecosystem and his strong entrepreneurial spirit. In 2000 Carter was appointed to the American SAP Users Group (ASUG) National Education and Content Committee, on which he served for two years.
