ABSTRACT:
Today, SAP data management has become progressively more challenging due to expansive active databases, inadequate application performance, lengthy response times and rising data retention requirements. To achieve successful Information LifeCycle Management, it is vital to invest in less expensive storage device solutions for SAP document and data archiving.

In this complimentary Webcast, gain fresh insight into advanced SAP document and data archiving solutions from Patricia Hall, business development manager for IBM's Software Group, and Dr. Werner Hopf, archiving principal for Dolphin and notable SAP authority.

You will hear about how IBM and their Business Partner, Dolphin, have developed a one-stop-shopping solution for SAP data archiving that is designed to significantly reduce the amount of data stored on high performance disks while simultaneously implementing corresponding increases in application performance. The result?easier upgrades of application software; faster backups and disaster recovery; and a reduction in data proliferation due to duplication?all of which add up to improved application operations and reduced costs.

In this Web event you will learn about how you can:

  • Keep up with continuously growing active databases
  • Improve application performance and response times
  • Meet compliance demands
  • Reduce data proliferation duplication
Together, IBM's CommonStore solution for SAP and Dolphin's extensive SAP archiving implementation experience provide a complete solution to address SAP database bloat. By leveraging the business transformation expertise of these industry leaders you can reduce SAP data storage cost, improve performance and address data retention regulations.
